Challenge
TOFAŞ was in search of enhancing the functionality of the process for directing vehicles coming off the production line to the relevant parking areas. There were external environmental conditions and variable lighting conditions that standard image processing systems could not address. With their existing systems, it was required to spend 13 minutes of labor per vehicle, leading to a slowdown in the supply chain and a decrease in process efficiency.
Solution
Yeditek utilized artificial intelligence and image processing technologies to develop a system capable of operating 24/7 in all weather and lighting conditions, reading barcodes on vehicles to direct them correctly. This system can monitor the occupancy of vehicle parking areas in real time with artificial intelligence and operates in full integration with TOFAŞ's software systems.
